LYFETYMER ACM PRO
The LYFETYMER® LED Metronome is a small inexpensive audio/visual device used to assist with
the correct timing of delivering CPR. Comprised of a visual LED and audible Metronome, this device eliminates the burden of attempting
to keep track of time increments.
This ACM supports rescuers in providing AHA-recommended ventilations and chest compressions with visual (brightly colored LED) and audio (human voice) indications of count and pace. Red light indicates compression; blue light indicates ventilations. A bright white LED lights the rescue scene and can be used to check victim's airway and mouth for debris. Excellent for use as both a training tool and an on-the-scene pacesetter.
**Even highly trained personnel who perform a procedure on a regular basis will encounter difficulty
in timing over an extended period. Their rhythm can be off due to fatigue. Environments where there is a great deal of activity cause distraction which then results in timing fluctuations. It is also noted that the less highly trained personnel (or those that irregularly perform a particular procedure which requires timing) also benefit from a visual and audible verification device.
